Job summary

6AM City, LLC in Missouri seeks a Security System Installer to join our growing team. You will install, wire, and program alarm systems, surveillance cameras, smart devices, and access control systems, delivering neat, reliable installations and top‑tier service to our customers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with low‑voltage wiring and basic networking, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience installing or servicing alarm, camera, or access systems (preferred)
• Working knowledge of low-voltage wiring and basic networking
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in crawlspaces
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills
• Must pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Install and configure security panels, sensors, cameras, and smart-home devices (Alarm.com, DSC Neo, etc.)
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, 22/4, etc.)
• Test, program, and verify system functionality
• Perform service calls, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and materials used
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
• Uphold company standards for neatness, quality, and safety
