Job summary

California Closets is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems in homes and businesses. You will work with hand and power tools, reading CAD drawings to ensure precise installations and customer satisfaction.

Expect a 4-day work week with health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, and company-provided tools and PPE. You will travel to job sites and contribute to high-end luxury projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work to install storage systems in homes or commercial spaces.
• Use CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems accurately and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removing and installing materials at customer sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our client.

***The pay range for this opportunity is $25-$30/hr***

***This opportunity comes with a 4 day work week***

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
