California Closets is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems for homes and businesses, following CAD drawings and blueprints. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service and precise carpentry work in residential or commercial settings.

The candidate will travel to sites, operate company-provided tools and vehicles, and maintain safety standards daily. A valid driver's license and experience with hand/power tools are required.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our client.

***The pay range for this opportunity is $25-$30/hr***

***This opportunity comes with a 4 day work week***

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
