Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a field service technician to install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services for customers in homes and businesses in Florence, SC. You will climb ladders, run lines, and troubleshoot as needed while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates are independent, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends; ability to lift up to 60 lbs is required. A valid driver’s license is required, and pre‑employment assessments apply.

Qualifications

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services for customers.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills while delivering great customer service.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs and work with ladders in customer locations.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; overtime may be required.
• Adhere to safety standards during field deployments.

Job description

• Install and activate state-of-the-art technology for customers.


• Install high-speed broadband, Wi\u2011Fi, and voice services in customer homes and businesses.


• Put in new lines, climb ladders, plug in equipment, and activate Wi\u2011Fi networks.


• Work independently while solving customer problems.


• Deliver best-in-class service and elevate the customer experience.

Requirements

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.


• Possess a valid state driver’s license.


• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs


• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.


• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)


• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.


• Identify wire and cable colors.


• Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
