Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring an installation technician to work at customer sites in Michigan, including Dearborn. You will install broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services, activate equipment, and troubleshoot issues while delivering top-notch customer service.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid state driver's license, with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, overtime, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers' homes or businesses.
• Work independently to complete installations and resolve technical issues.
• Identify and connect customer wiring, activate equipment, and ensure service is working as promised.
• Provide best-in-class customer service during every visit.

• Work independently at customers’ homes and businesses.
• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services.
• Install new lines, climb ladders, plug in equipment, and activate Wi-Fi networks.
• Solve customer installation and technology problems.
• Connect customers to AT&T services and deliver best-in-class service.

Requirements

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.
• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
