Job summary

WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems is seeking an Installer to install and remove washers and dryers in apartment and condo complexes and customers' homes. You will also clean laundries and perform light service work with a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of mechanical experience, an acceptable driving record, and solid English communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good driving record required.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective English communication (oral and written); Spanish helpful.
• Minimum 1 year mechanical experience and electrical knowledge/training.
• Lift 50 lbs regularly and move up to 200+ lbs with dolly/hand truck.
• Washer/dryer repair experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels and facilities.
• Disassemble machines and inspect mechanical/electrical parts.
• Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, lubricate moving parts.
• Replace worn/defective parts and adjust motors.
• Clean and wash parts.
• Advise dispatch about equipment needing replacement.
• Drive company vehicle to and from work locations.

Position Summary

As an Installer, you will Install and remove washers and dryers in apartment complexes, condominium complexes, and customers' homes. You will also clean the laundry rooms, washer, dryers and performs light service work. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
• Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
• Reassemble appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
• Replace worn or defective parts and adjusts motors
• Clean and wash parts
• Advise dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced with new equipment
• Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations

What we’re looking for

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good driving record
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written); bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish) are desirable
• At least 1 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge and/or training
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck
• Prior washer/dryer repair experience is desirable
