Clayton Services is searching for an Installation Supervisor to join a thriving company in Tampa, Florida. The Installation Supervisor will oversee the comprehensive installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting of the company's process automation systems, ensuring optimal functionality and providing extensive field service and support.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $75,000 - $85,000/annually

• Supervise the installation of the company-provided process automation systems, covering a wide array of equipment such as belt and screw conveyors, compounders, cyclones, and more.
• Lead commissioning and start-up processes, actively assisting programmers and providing hands-on troubleshooting and repair for components and systems.
• Execute precise instrument installation and calibration procedures.
• Fine-tune, align, and calibrate various equipment and machinery to meet optimal specifications.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and resolve equipment performance problems.
• Safely perform rigging and lifting tasks using a shop crane and forklift for various parts.
• Maintain accurate written records and logs as required.

Installation Supervisor Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written communication skills for maintaining detailed records and logs.
• Strong technical skills in instrument installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in adjusting, aligning, and calibrating equipment to optimal specifications.
• Ability to interpret and apply written and numerical information from electrical and mechanical plans, blueprints, schematics, sketches, and ability to read pneumatic and electric diagrams, PI&Ds.
• Ability to read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures or dusty and noisy conditions while wearing safety equipment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Installation Supervisor Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience overseeing and supervising the installation and maintenance of process automation systems.
• Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Prior experience in electrical trades, such as panel wiring, is a plus.
