Job description

CleanBotix, a leading robotics innovator in automated food sanitation technology is seeking an experienced Install Success Manager, based in Grand Rapids Michigan. This position will focus on managing robot installation projects at customer facilities throughout the United States. You'll work closely with our customers, Regional Area Managers, Install Technicians and the Service Team to ensure the efficient and successful installation of robots while exceeding customer expectations. This is a project management and hands-on technical position installing and training autonomous robots in food production plants (meat processing, further processing, RTE meal production, etc). Installation project success is based on timely and on budget project completion while meeting cleaning performance requirements as set by the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Business Development Director, Area Management Team, Manufacturing Manager and Install Team to plan and successfully complete installation projects.

Successful project completion includes:

• Confirm that cleaning performance meets customer requirements
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction with installation project
• On time completion
• Lead install project management: responsible for schedule, personnel, equipment and logistics planning and customer communication
• Work with and direct Install Technicians to complete onsite project work
• Manage installation related issues and work with the Service Team to resolve issues
• Drive product and process improvement in conjunction with the Installation Manager

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management and installation complex technical systems, preferably in robotics or automation.
• “Get it done” attitude and drive to grow within a fast moving startup organization. Strong desire to complete projects and do what it takes to succeed.
• Customer & teamwork focused: effectively collaborate with customer and internal teams to resolve challenges effectively.
• Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in high pressure situations and keep Install Team focused.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills .
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry best practices is preferred.
• Strong project management, technical & computer skills (Mechanical, Electrical & IT). Robotics and engineering experience is a plus.
• Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending and kneeling.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as required.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States, 50% - 70% of the time and work flexible shifts based on customer schedules.
