Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Manager to lead and oversee installation operations, supervising technicians, coordinating multiple projects monthly, and ensuring timely equipment ordering and release. You will align activities with company goals under the guidance of the Operations Leader or District Manager.

You will build strong relationships with end-users in healthcare and retail, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers, while closely monitoring

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA/BA/BS preferred.
• Team approach with effective communication across departments.
• Experience directly managing/supervising Field Technicians in the Door Automation/Construction industry.
• Experience planning and completing contracted jobs in the Construction Industry.
• Experience supervising Administrative personnel (scheduling, ordering, coordinating installation).
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule (including weekends).
• Experience installing electromechanical products desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with General Contractors and End-Users.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all Installation Technicians activities.
• Manage multiple installation projects per month and order/release equipment via factory/customer service.
• Coordinate project scheduling with end-user customers.
• Meet goals and growth objectives under Operations Leader or District Manager.
• Supervise Administrative personnel (scheduling, ordering, install coordination).
• Develop and maintain relationships with End-users in Health Care and Retail, GC's, Sub-contractors, Architects, and Suppliers.
• Maintain communication with Factory on backlog and work-in-progress.
• Collaborate with Sales to determine labor hours and margins.
• Forecast and review project projections and reports.
