Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager, Power Generation in Houston to lead technical and commercial execution of power generation projects using reciprocating gas engines.

You will drive engineering deliverables and coordinate across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, service, and customers throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong project management, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with power generation equipment, process equipment, manufacturing, or engineer-to-order equipment.
• Experience with installation and construction of power generation systems or power islands preferred.
• Knowledge of reciprocating engines and/or turbines preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial execution of power generation projects from award through installation and commissioning.
• Serve as primary technical interface with customers for requirements, changes and schedules.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across design, drafting, procurement, manufacturing, quality and service.
• Develop and coordinate key engineering deliverables (P&IDs, equipment requisitions, drawings, data sheets, BOMs).
• Lead design reviews and ensure customer specs are incorporated into final design.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, vendor docs, costs and change orders.
• Support proposal development, equipment testing and quality requirements; provide manufacturing support as needed.
