Job summary

KBR in Houston is seeking an Installation Management Chief to lead the Base Civil Engineer Installation Management Flight, overseeing asset accountability, housing, environmental compliance, and energy projects. The role drives strategic planning, regulatory adherence, and lifecycle asset management to support mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, public administration, facilities management, environmental science, or related field.
• Driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders, military leaders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in budgeting, analyzing financial data, and understanding cost-saving measures, especially in energy performance.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and direct internal control and ESG-related audits and inspections.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Air Force instructions and related policies.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs including hazardous materials, waste, water, and air quality.
• Manage real estate leases, assets, and regulatory property requirements.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and supervise personnel; manage work planning and priorities.
• Provide decisions on asset performance, space utilization, and long-term investment needs.
• Support energy resilience and infrastructure privatization initiatives.
