TGRC is partnered with a well-established global battery technology business with a long-standing presence in the US, specialising in advanced energy storage solutions across the renewable energy and industrial sectors. The business is now further expanding its US energy storage manufacturing and project capabilities.

We're seeking an experienced Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support the deployment of large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and power infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a technical leader with a strong background in commissioning, field execution, and energy systems who is passionate about advancing the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate installation and commissioning activities for Field Service Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors across utility-scale energy projects.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans for new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout the Americas region.
• Create and maintain installation & commissioning standards, procedures, quality requirements, safety protocols, training materials, and work instructions.
• Select, train, and qualify subcontractors in collaboration with sourcing and project teams.
• Support RFQ development, contractor evaluation, and commissioning contract execution.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field teams during project execution.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to analyze field performance, identify trends, and drive continuous product improvements.
• Promote a strong "Safety First" culture by supporting root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7-10+ years of engineering experience, preferably within power generation, renewable energy, industrial electrical systems, or energy storage.
• Proven experience leading installation and commissioning activities for complex industrial or energy projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing and leading technical field teams.
• Hands-on experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical controls, power conversion systems, or related energy technologies.
