Placements24 is seeking an Installation and Repair Technician to install and support client systems at customer locations. You will handle setup, troubleshooting, and repairs, with travel to sites as needed and provision of necessary tools and safety equipment.

The role requires reading technical diagrams, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Installation and Repair Technician to join their operational team serving the Upington region. This role is essential for the successful setup and ongoing support of our client's products and systems at customer premises. You will be responsible for installing new equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and system reliability. This is a hands-on position for an individual with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively independently in various locations across the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment and systems according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during installation or operation.
