Job summary

Allegion plc is seeking an Install Technician for Stanley Access Technologies in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining automatic door equipment, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will perform preventive maintenance, keep precise records, and stay current on equipment changes and ANSI standards while working in a dynamic field service environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50-75 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule including nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service and perform preventative maintenance on Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and related electro/mechanical equipment.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance per customer program.
• Maintain all work records and parts used per procedure.
• Keep updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals up to date with advised changes.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and property.
• Maintain inventory for service vehicle and log it.
• Maintain good customer relations and assist others in install/service methods.
