Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking an Install Helper to support lead installers and ensure safe, correct installations. You will learn on the job, learn to use tools, and help ensure customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a professional service mindset.

In this hands-on position, you’ll participate in all installation steps, follow policies, and help protect client homes with floor protection. A strong work ethic is essential for growth in the trades.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders
• Must be able to use hand and power tools
• Must be able to braze and solder equipment as needed

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Promote a professional, friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Wear floor savers and protect client floors during installations.
• Re-check installation aspects and explain the system to the client on completion.
