Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Install Foreman to oversee the installation of themed construction and show-set components in field environments. This hands-on leadership role directs field crews, ensures safety and quality, and tracks progress against engineering specs and project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Five+ years as Field Installer in themed construction or related industry.
  • Advanced ability to read blueprints and design documents.
  • Strong knowledge of FRP, carpentry, and metals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the handling and installation of show-set components.
  • Direct field crews and ensure all installed elements are properly secured according to engineering details.
  • Review work in progress and inspect completed installations.
  • Oversee assigned crew members and assist with training new employees.
  • Work with FRP, carpentry, metals, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, architectural specifications, engineering details, and other design documents.
  • Perform quality-control inspections on completed work.
  • Identify and resolve installation and rigging-related problems.
  • Ensure installation goals and project deadlines are achieved.
  • Follow all company, project, federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, managers, and project team members.
  • Maintain proper project documentation and document-control procedures.
  • Make appropriate field decisions while completing assigned responsibilities.

INSTALL FOREMAN

Pay Rate: $26.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Work Location: Field/Onsite
Reports To: Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Install Foreman to oversee the installation of themed construction and show-set components. This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for directing field crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, reviewing installation activities, and ensuring projects are completed according to engineering specifications and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in the handling and installation of show-set components.
  • Direct field crews and ensure all installed elements are properly secured according to engineering details.
  • Review work in progress and inspect completed installations.
  • Oversee assigned crew members and assist with training new employees.
  • Work with fiberglass‑reinforced plastic (FRP), carpentry, metals, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, architectural specifications, engineering details, and other design documents.
  • Perform quality‑control inspections on completed work.
  • Identify and resolve installation and rigging‑related problems.
  • Ensure installation goals and project deadlines are achieved.
  • Follow all company, project, federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, managers, and project team members.
  • Maintain proper project documentation and document‑control procedures.
  • Make appropriate field decisions while completing assigned responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Field Installer within the artificial theming, themed construction, entertainment, or a closely related industry.
  • Advanced ability to read blueprints, architectural specifications, and design documents.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Experience working with FRP, carpentry, and metals.
  • Ability to lead, direct, and train field crews.
  • Moderate experience using relevant computer systems.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize responsibilities, and solve problems.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rigging and staging experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance from another person or lifting equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, see, and hear for extended periods.
  • Ability to push, pull, drag, lift, bend, kneel, climb, perform overhead work, and complete repetitive movements.
  • Must have good balance and agility.
  • Must be comfortable working at elevated heights using high‑reach equipment or scaffolding

This is a field‑based position. Work hours may vary depending on daylight, project schedules, and operational needs. Work environments may change frequently and require constant awareness of surrounding conditions and potential hazards. Employees may be required to work outdoors, under extreme environmental conditions, and at elevated heights.
