Job summary

SPATCO in Knoxville, TN is seeking a hands-on Installer/Construction team member to support ground-up projects installing piping, tanks, and electrical/mechanical systems. The role includes travel to various service stations, commercial sites, marinas, and airports, with on-the-job training provided.

You will work outdoors in all weather, lift 75–100 lbs, and collaborate with crew members, vendors, and contractors to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Experience in petroleum industry and product familiarity preferred.
• Installer certifications in the product line are a plus.
• Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites as needed (overnight travel possible).
• Operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and install equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
• Maintain positive relationships with crew, vendors, and contractors to meet deadlines.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Keep the job site clean and organized at day end.

In this position, you will work as part of a team working on ground up construction projects to install piping, tanks and electrical/mechanical systems. We provide classroom and on the job training for our install/construction positions and service technicians. In this position you may work at service stations, commercial sites, marinas, and airports, etc.

• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed, including job cleanup at the end of each day.
