Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions invites you to join our Install/Crew team in Columbia, SC, working on ground-up construction projects to install piping, tanks and electrical/mechanical systems. We provide classroom and on-the-job training for install positions and service technicians across fueling and charging projects.

As part of our crew, you will travel to various job sites, operate heavy equipment, and perform concrete and framing tasks while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in petroleum industry preferred.
• Installer certifications in the product line are a plus.
• Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Reliable, detail oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites, overnight travel required.
• Operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and install equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing and finishing tasks.
• Maintain positive relationships with crew, vendors and contractors.
• Follow safety procedures at all times and keep the site clean.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines.

In this position, you will work as part of a team working on ground up construction projects to install piping, tanks and electrical/mechanical systems. We provide classroom and on the job training for our install/construction positions and service technicians. In this position you may work at service stations, commercial sites, marinas, and airports, etc.

Essential Functions

• Ability to travel to job sites (Requires overnight travel).
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and manually install equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure deadlines are met.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed, including job cleanup at the end of each day.
