Job summary

SPATCO is seeking installers in Mississippi to join a team building piping, tanks and electrical/mechanical systems across service stations, commercial sites, marinas and airports. Training is provided on the job and in the classroom to prepare you for the role.

You will travel to job sites, operate heavy equipment, work with concrete and framing, and maintain safe, timely completion of projects while coordinating with crew members and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience in construction is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs and work outside in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites (overnight travel may be required).
• Operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and install equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing and finishing.
• Maintain positive relationships with crew, vendors and contractors.

Job description

In this position, you will work as part of a team working on ground up construction projects to install piping, tanks and electrical/mechanical systems. We provide classroom and on the job training for our install/construction positions and service technicians. In this positions you may work at service stations, commercial sites, marinas, and airports, etc.

Essential Functions

• Ability to travel to job sites (may require overnight travel).
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and manually install equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure deadlines are met.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed, including job cleanup at the end of each day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Experience in the petroleum industry and product familiarity is preferred.
• Installer certifications in the product line are a plus.
• Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Reliable employee, detail oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Ability to work outside during all types of weather.
• Ability to work with others to ensure deadlines are met.
