Circuit Stream is seeking an instructor to deliver its HealthTech Innovation curriculum in person at St. Edward's University, Austin, for July 12–23, 2027, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Compensation is USD 1,650 per week. Training includes required onboarding and 2–3 hours in June; a criminal background check will be completed before working with youth learners. You will introduce teens aged 13–17 to wearable sensors, medical devices, imaging, and digital health tools; lead hands-on activities,

Qualifications

• You genuinely enjoy working with teenagers and can keep a group engaged.
• Experience in healthcare, biomedical engineering, health sciences, computer science, medical technology, digital health, or related field.
• Completed or in-progress degree in healthcare, engineering, tech, biology, or health sciences; equivalent teaching experience considered.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to explain medical and technical concepts clearly.
• Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or youth program experience is strongly preferred.
• Dependable, prepared, receptive to feedback, and able to take responsibility for student safety.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Circuit Stream’s HealthTech Innovation curriculum with energy and clear classroom facilitation.
• Guide students through hands-on activities involving health data, wearable sensors, medical devices, imaging, and digital health tools, ensuring learning objectives are met.
• Explain healthcare challenges and technology solutions in clear, age-appropriate terms.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and manage behavior and safety.
• Supervise students during indoor/outdoor activities and communicate progress and concerns to the Circuit Stream team.
