Job summary

GRANBURY ISD seeks a qualified educator to provide students with engaging learning activities designed to fulfill their potential across intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher will deliver TEKS-aligned instruction and foster leadership and innovation within the classroom.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, Texas teaching certificate with endorsements, and adherence to NCLB Highly Qualified standards; CDL and related endorsements are required for bus-related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject/level.
• Meet Highly Qualified standards under No Child Left Behind Act.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for the assigned program.
• Prepare and differentiate lessons reflecting individual student needs.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies accommodating diverse learners.
• Coordinate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Maintain accurate grading records reflecting TEKS-based instruction.
• Assess student achievement using formative and summative assessments.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers and plan their assignments.
