Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned or approved alternative certification - specifically certification in history and preferably, but not absolutely required, with 4-8 generalist or 1-8 elementary or similarly related certification
• ESL Certification (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the district curriculum requirements.
• Align teaching to the district curriculum and participate in curriculum development.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Plan and apply instructional strategies that meet diverse student needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Supervise extracurricular activities as assigned.
