• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials that reflect student needs.
• Assess learning styles and use results to plan instruction.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals and methods.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
• Monitor student study methods and habits for improvement.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of achievement through tests.
• Support extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Model professional behavior and uphold district mission.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
• Manage student behavior per Student Code of Conduct.
• Protect students, equipment, and facilities from hazards.
• Assist in selecting books and instructional materials.
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and community.
