Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Lead to create an inviting store atmosphere and deliver the best shoe-shopping experience for every customer. You’ll lead by example, coach teammates, and stay on top of trends to engage customers with our brands and the Famous Feeling.

You’ll own retail operations—from pricing and inventory to opening and closing—while promoting an inclusive, high-energy culture that motivates the team and drives sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General retail practices and procedures knowledge.
• Some store management experience or equivalent.
• Experience motivating a team to achieve goals.
• Ability to multitask and follow store manager directions.
• Mentor and train Associates on selling and operations.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teammates and coach selling behaviors.
• Drive sales and achieve goals.
• Know store operations; manage pricing, inventory, opening/closing.
• Enforce company policies and collaborate with partners.
• Champion the Famous culture and deliver top-notch customer experiences.
