Job summary

Caleres, Inc. is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Lead to create the best shoe-store experience for every customer.

You will foster a welcoming store culture, coach teammates, and ensure the store runs smoothly with strong attention to operations. You will champion our brands, stay current on fashion trends, and help customers find perfect fits while delivering the Famous Feeling across a busy, high-energy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Proficient working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Previous experience being on a team and motivating others to accomplish a goal.
• Manages multiple tasks and communicates direction set by the store manager.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule and meet availability requirements of the role. Includes holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Has basic computer skills.
