Osseo Area Schools ISD 279 Garden City Elementary in Brooklyn Center, MN is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher (Long-Term Substitute) to inspire scholars and deliver instruction across the curriculum. This 1.0 FTE temporary role runs Aug 31, 2026 through Dec 11, 2026, with duties including collaboration and family communication.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and MN teaching license (K-6) or eligible Out of Field Permission; if not licensed, you must pursue Tier 1 or 2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in K-6 Elementary Education or Birth-Grade 3, or willing to obtain Out of Field Permission.
• If not licensed, willing to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and prepare scholars to achieve their dreams and engage in learning.
• Provide instruction and support across curriculum areas per district goals.
• Design, deliver and assess curriculum; use resources and technologies equitably.
