Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Assist administration in implementing rules governing student life and conduct.
• Plan and implement a program of study aligned to district standards.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various methods.
• Maintain an engaging classroom environment and clear objectives for lessons.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Diagnose learning challenges and maintain records for IEPs/504 Plans.
• Observe and assess student performance, behavior, and progress.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss progress and priorities.
