Job summary

All Saints’ Episcopal School in Fort Worth seeks an experienced, energetic Early Childhood Substitute to support students aged 3 to 5 and assist with daily classroom tasks and learning activities.

The role requires following lesson plans, assigning work, evaluating progress, and collaborating with faculty. The substitute will maintain a positive classroom environment, supervise students in halls and the cafeteria, and may assist with various duties during school hours.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, preferably in education, child-centered, or related field.
• Classroom experience.
• Able to perform light physical work such as walking students to different location in the school and standing for extended periods of time.
• Available to accept a substitute position the day one is needed and/or accept jobs if scheduled ahead of time.
• Complete interview process as well as background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow regular teacher’s lesson plans (written and oral) to ensure consistency within learning.
• Assign classwork and homework according to lesson plans.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student progress during instruction.
• Communicate effectively with other faculty members and staff.
• Comply with policies and operating procedures.
• Maintain and manage classroom behavior in a positive environment.
• Supervise students out of class in different areas of the school such as hallways and in the cafeteria.
