Job summary

KIPP New Orleans Schools seeks dedicated teachers to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction across our network of 13 schools. You will engage students with HQIM, communicate learning objectives, and use data to inform planning.

The role emphasizes differentiation, effective classroom routines, restorative practices, family communication, and collaboration with DSS/ESL staff. Candidates must have a state teaching credential and at least two years of urban teaching experience.

Qualifications

• State teaching credential required.
• At least two years of urban teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to use HQIM and data to drive instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM.
• Differentiate instruction and support students with IEP/504 plans.
• Use data to inform daily plans and reteach.
• Establish safe, joyful routines and strong classroom culture.
• Collaborate with families and translators as needed.
