Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to lead LifeWise classes for grades 6-12. The role requires a minimum of two years of teaching experience and active participation in a local church aligning with LifeWise beliefs.

Applicants should be committed to the LifeWise mission and participate in ongoing training. Responsibilities include lesson planning, using LifeWise curriculum, maintaining records, and engaging with students through relational teaching while promoting spiritual growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and become LifeWise Teacher Certified.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters, health concerns, and consent slips.
• Keep the classroom organized, engaging, and aligned with program policies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and the program director regularly.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
