Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an Inspector Packer to join a night shift. You will inspect and package plastic products, ensure quality and proper labeling, and help maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced team setting.

The role offers full-time employment with benefits and a signing bonus. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift and stand for long periods. Growth opportunities exist within the company’s manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
