Pretium Packaging in Saint Louis, MO is hiring a full-time Inspector Packer for the 2-2-3 day shift (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM). You will inspect finished plastic products, package them to specifications, and ensure items are ready for shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Package products according to specifications and seal properly.
• Label packages with product information and warnings as needed.
• Monitor production line efficiency and identify packaging or production issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and assist with solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and manage inventory of packaging materials and notify when replenishment is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
