Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking an Inspector Packer for the 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am) in Saint Charles, IL. You will inspect finished plastic products for defects and package them for shipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand long hours, basic data entry, and a team-oriented approach. Starting wage is $16 per hour. Direct hire, on-site with growth opportunities and full benefits including 401k matching, life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
