Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a diligent Inspector/Packer for the night shift to ensure scrap reduction, product quality, and accurate bag counts. The role requires basic computer skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

On-site position with standard benefits and on-the-job training provided. The team collaborates to maintain 5S practices, sanitation, and timely documentation while supporting training for fellow staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required, on the job training provided.
• Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.
• Inspecting and packing quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications.
• Ensure box/tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification.
• Report any suspect or defective product for review and decision.
• Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.
• Practice 5S, Good House Keeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.
• Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines in production facility.
• Complete documentation completely and accurately.
• Assist in training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Shift Premium Amount: $1.00

Pay Rate: $18.50

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.
