The Lead Inspector serves as the Commission's on-shift leader and is responsible for supervising Inspection staff while ensuring the integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of all gaming operations. Reporting to the Director of Inspection, this position provides operational leadership during assigned shifts, oversees daily inspection activities, and serves as the primary point of contact for addressing compliance concerns and operational issues. The Lead Inspector plays a critical role in protecting Tribal assets and maintaining public confidence in the gaming operation by ensuring compliance with Tribal laws, gaming regulations, Standards of Operation and Management, and Commission policies and procedures. This position leads investigations, reviews inspection findings, monitors gaming activities, and works collaboratively with casino management, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve compliance issues.
This role requires exceptional integrity, sound judgment, investigative aptitude, and the ability to operate objectively and independently in an environment subject to governmental and public scrutiny. Work schedules include nights, weekends, holidays, and may exceed 40 hours per week, including during periods of inclement weather.
