The successful candidate will apply quality assurance and inspection procedures during and after construction to ensure structural quality, safety, and conformance to plans, specifications, and codes.
This role is focused on highway construction projects and involves verification and documentation of compliance with contract requirements and TxDOT Construction standards. Note: Not eligible for employer sponsorship except for TN visa classifications.
Qualifications/certifications that may be obtained within six months under supervision include TxDOT Project Experience, TxDOT Concrete Field Technician, SB101 and 102 Certifications, HMA Certifications, OSHA 30-Hour Safety, Work Zone Traffic Control, and Nuclear Radiation Safety.
Fieldwork involving bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, lifting up to 25 lbs, in various weather conditions.
