Printpack in Williamsburg, VA seeks an Inspector I to perform thorough visual inspections, ensuring products meet customer specifications and established quality standards. The shift is 3PM–11PM, with a $2.50/hr premium for hours from 7PM to 7AM. Wage ranges from $15.50 to $23.24 per hour, depending on experience, with standard benefits.
The Inspector I position plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction through thorough visual inspection of products. This position is responsible for examining, evaluating, and ensuring products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The Inspector I also conducts proper packaging operations, while adhering to safety protocols and workplace organization standards. The role serves as the primary quality checkpoint in the production process, requiring keen attention to detail, strong visual acuity, and consistent application of quality standards. This position requires an individual who demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality while maintaining productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.
Hours: 3PM-11PM. An additional $2.50/hr. premium added to salary for hours worked between 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium. Wage: $15.50 - $23.24 per hour depending on experience.
The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to: Noise levels above 80 dB Manufacturing equipment Solvents, fumes and inks Variable Temperatures Must be able to work flexible shifts May require nights, weekends, and holidays.
