Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an Inspector in Wilmington, MA to perform daily inspection of incoming material, document results, and move items to the correct areas.

You will support MRB activities and perform first article inspections when required, ensuring accurate records and proper disposition of nonconforming parts. Ideal candidates read blueprints (GD&T), have experience with inspection tools and CMMs, and can navigate multiple systems to retrieve drawings and data.

• 3+ years of relevant inspection experience.

## Inspector 3Apply: Wilmington, MA: Methuen, MA: Full time: Posted Today: R21873A Day in Your Life at MKS:As an Inspector at MKS Corporation, you will partner with operation, Engineering, Internal Teams, Sales, Customers, etc. to conduct process audit & inspection of tools & products. In this role, you will report to Sr. Quality Manager. You Will Make an Impact By:* Using written procedures perform daily inspection of incoming material and document results. Move conforming material to the stockroom. Move nonconforming material to the MRB area* Support MRB activities. Move dispositioned material to the proper area. Complete and process necessary documentation* Perform detailed first article inspections when required and document results* Interface with appropriate parties, as directed, to address issues noted* Use computer terminals and networked PCs to access various programs such as the catalog parts book, purchase order information, and part ship-to-stock statusSkills You Bring:* Experience using inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, drop indicators, radius gauges, gage blocks, height gauges, and digital multimeters* 3+ years of relevant experience* Ability to read blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, for the items listed in the job summary* Maintain accurate records of inspection activity, including part history records, nonconformance reports, and ship-to-stock requests* Work with a minimum of supervision and effectively handle multiple tasks concurrently* Maintain a professional working relationship with internal customers* Ability to lift material up to 50 pounds* Good knowledge of measurement accuracy, measurement terminology.* Theory and operation of CMM Coordinate Measuring Machine preferred. CMM programming experience a plus* Strong computer skills require the ability to navigate multiple system to obtain drawings, and enter dataCompensation and Benefits:Pay Range: $22.50 - 37.50 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
