Job summary

C.H. Thompson is seeking an Inspection Team Lead to oversee daily workflow within the inspection department, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery requirements are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team management skills as you work closely with Production, Quality, and Customer Service teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Experience in inspection or quality control is a plus.
• Willingness to be hands-on on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the inspection team in daily operations.
• Monitor schedules and progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate delays or staffing needs to management.
• Hands-on inspection support and production tasks as needed.
• Mentor employees and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
