Job summary

MAC.BID in Davenport, IA is seeking an Inspection-Feed Associate to prepare and position products for the Scan Team. This full-time, hourly role reports to the Scan Team Lead and involves inspecting inbound items, classifying them, and moving them toward processing.

You will work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, lift up to 50 pounds with team help, and stay on-site to support operations. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and basic tech skills help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
