Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking an inspection/feed associate to support the Scan Team in processing customer returns and overstock items for online auction sales. The role focuses on inspecting inbound products, categorizing condition, and preparing items for scanning.

On-site, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, and occasional weekend work. Training covers policies, electronics testing, and teamwork with the Scan Team Lead.

Qualifications

• Must be tech-savvy and able to follow written directions and company policies.
• Able to stand and walk for hours, lift up to 25 lb alone and 50 lb with team lift.
• Schedules vary, on-site availability required; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break,hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
