Job summary

MAC.BID is recruiting for an Inspection-Feed Associate in Davenport, IA. This full-time, on-site role involves inspecting inbound products, classifying condition, testing basic electronics, and directing items to the scanner. The position reports to the Scan Team Lead and supports the warehouse flow.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Benefits begin after probation, with weekly pay and opportunities like 401(k) matching and PTO after a set period.

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team lift.
• Able to stand and walk for hours, and follow written directions.

• Move products to conveyor for scanners to process.

INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
