Job summary

Carvana in Wood Village, OR seeks a Parts Supervisor to lead the Inspection Center team in meeting production and quality goals. You will oversee daily activities, coach staff, and ensure adherence to safety and process standards.

You will train team members on Quality Control, manage inventory decisions, and partner with the General Manager to drive efficiency while maintaining Carvana’s high standards and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Understanding of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
• Knowledge of lean principles.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Ability to communicate clearly and delegate tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into/out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee daily team activities; identify strengths/weaknesses and opportunities.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to team members.
• Create a work environment that supports Carvana values and teamwork.
• Communicate expectations and goals clearly to the team.
• Resolve conflicts among team members.
• Ensure adherence to systems, policies and performance standards.
• Lead production team with the General Manager on inventory quality decisions.
• Train team on Quality Control standards to minimize reworks.
