Sun Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a global law firm in NYC seeking associates for its Insolvency & Restructuring practice in a hybrid setting. The role requires 2–4 years of restructuring experience in Chapter 11 and cross-border matters, with a JD and NY Bar in good standing.

Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus; must have attended a top 50 law school and worked at an AmLaw 200 firm. Expected salary ranges from $235,000 to $310,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers and others in Chapter 11 and cross-border matters.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Strong academic and professional record, with excellent writing, research and communication skills.
• Integral members of high-performing, collaborative teams across the firm.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing, is required.
• Must have attended a top 50 law school and worked at an AmLaw 200 firm.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 proceedings and cross-border matters.
• Assist in deposition and trial preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to deliver high-quality work product.
• Operate as part of high-performing, collaborative teams on multiple projects.
