Our client is a global law firm seeking associates for its Insolvency & Restructuring practice in a Midtown Manhattan hybrid setting. The role requires 2–4 years of restructuring experience, JD from an accredited law school, and NY Bar admission in good standing.

Top-50 law school graduate with AmLaw 200 experience is preferred, with opportunities to work across teams. The expected salary for this position is $235,000 - $310,000, plus bonus, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated high academic and professional excellence with strong interpersonal, communication, research, and writing abilities.
• Must be integral to high-performing, collaborative teams and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on insolvency matters.
• Contribute to strategy and client service in Chapter 11 proceedings and cross-border matters.
• Prepare deposition and trial materials when required.
• Maintain rigorous deadlines and high-quality work product.

Our client is a global law firm and has been practicing for over 100 years. There are seeking associates to join its Insolvency & Restructuring practice at its NYC midtown office in a hybrid setting.

Main Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Between 2-4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in connection with Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate a record of high academic and professional excellence, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and exceptional research, analytical, and writing abilities. The associate will work with attorneys across the firm.

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing, is also required.
• Must have attended a top 50 law school & worked at an AmLaw 200 Law Firm
