Job summary

Clean Harbors is looking for Chemical Handlers to join our safety conscious team in Cedar Hill, Texas. This entry-level role offers training and growth opportunities while performing waste pickups, bulking, labeling, and spill response at customer facilities.

You will operate forklifts, inspect drums, and ensure safe loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles, with potential advancement as you gain experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Make waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Package and label waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participate in spill response on customer’s site as needed.
• Operate forklifts.
• Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility;
