Job summary

Evermark is seeking a Sales Analyst for the Grocery Channel in Minneapolis to drive actionable insights from retailer POS and syndicated data. You will support the Grocery sales teams by analyzing distribution, velocity, pricing, promotions, and assortment performance to fuel profitable growth and reporting across top accounts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales or commercial analytics within a CPG environment.
• Strong experience working with retailer POS data (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, Costco).
• Hands-on experience with Nielsen/Circana syndicated data and retailer data sources (Circana/IRI, SPINS, retailer portals, Numerator).
• Advanced MS Excel skills including vlookup and managing large sets of data.
• Strong ability to translate data into insights that influence sales strategy and execution.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze retailer POS data to evaluate sales performance, distribution, velocity, pricing, promotions, and assortment effectiveness.
• Leverage Nielsen syndicated data to assess category trends, competitive performance, market share, and whitespace opportunities.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across retailer and syndicated data sources.
• Improve and automate analytics processes to increase speed, scalability, and self-service reporting.
• Support brand/category assortment decisions through SKU productivity analysis and planogram updates.
• Assist in Line Review preparation including category overviews, new item details, distribution recommendations, and coordinated insights.
• Track Supply Chain KPIs to identify risks and opportunities across allocations, cuts, and financial implications.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards/Excel based reports, scorecards, and executive-ready reporting for Sales and Commercial Leadership powered with trends, shopper behavior, and performance drivers in the grocery channel.
