Qualifications

• Strong analytical and investigative skills to identify and mitigate threats.
• Knowledge of government security regulations and insider risk concepts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in applying data analytics within insider risk/threat management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance the Insider Risk Program, policies, and tools.
• Develop a comprehensive framework for deterrence, detection, and mitigation of insider risks.
• Lead threat assessments and strategies for personnel with authorized access.
• Assess threats and integrate findings into broader security management.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to detect insider risk behaviours while upholding privacy laws.
• Participate in investigations and oversee reporting protocols.
• Coordinate with IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Security for interventions.
• Engage with government agencies and industry counterparts on insider risk.
• Develop insider risk awareness training for employees and leaders.
• Ensure compliance with government requirements and serve as Senior Official.
