# Inside UpholstererHickory Chair - Hickory, NC 28602## OverviewPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDay## Description**Summary Job Description**This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.**Essential Duties*** Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture* Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly* Must be able to read and follow production tickets* Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft* Must follow all safety policies and procedures* All other duties as assigned## Qualifications**Position Requirements*** High school diploma or GED preferred* Previous upholstery experience a plus**Physical Requirements**The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
