Job summary

RHF in Conover, NC is seeking a dedicated Upholstery Assembler to apply padding and fabric to furniture frames using hand and power tools and specialty upholstery equipment.

You will build pieces with a smooth, well-fitted cover, read production tickets, and follow all safety policies in a fast-paced shop environment. Prolonged standing and manual dexterity are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous upholstery experience a plus.

Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.

Essential Duties

• Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture
• Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly
• Must be able to read and follow production tickets
• Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
